Cancellation Policy

The Skin Academy strives to provide each client with the highest quality of care while attempting to accommodate your schedule for your convenience. Therefore, we provide reserved time slots for each client in order to minimize your wait time and assure continuity of your treatment plan. While we are sensitive to the fact that an emergency may occur in a rare instance, last minute cancellations, reschedules and no-shows decrease our ability to accommodate the scheduling needs of other clients. We must ask for your full cooperation with the following policy items: All appointments must be confirmed within 48 hours of booking. You will receive a text and email requesting confirmation. If the appointment is not confirmed within 48 hours of booking, it will be canceled. All deposits are nonrefundable and non-transferable. Deposits will not be kept on file for any length of time. If an appointment is cancelled or no-showed, the initial deposit is forfeited. If a reschedule is needed, the appointment must be rescheduled within 24 hours of contact to keep the deposit. A scheduled appointment must be canceled or rescheduled 48 hours prior to the appointment time. If you are late to a scheduled appointment, you may only be treated for the remainder of your service time and charged for the full service amount. If you are more than 10 minutes late, you may be asked to reschedule and a new deposit will be required. Failure to attend a scheduled appointment (no-show) without notification will result in forfeiture of the deposit on file and being blocked from future bookings. Clients are allowed two reschedules per appointment. If an appointment needs to be rescheduled a third time, the initial deposit will be forfeited and a new deposit required. If the new deposit is not paid within 24 hours, the appointment will be canceled. The initial service deposit is transferable to two reschedules, as long as the reschedule is done same day and within 30 days of original appointment date. Deposits will be forfeited if a client requests a reschedule and does not respond or update the appointment same day, this is considered a cancellation. All clients are required to have an up to date credit or debit card on file for these instances. The card must be Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover. We do not accept CashApp cards, Venmo cards or other payment app cards on file. We appreciate your anticipated adherence and cooperation with these policies.
